"I'm aiming to have a good time and I want you to do the same, us Sam's gotta stick together right?"
Marvin raised his eyebrows at her "Yes, maybe not when you're sober, I mean you probably won't remember this which is fine for you. It was a good distraction, it worked and continued to work as I'm still here talking to you about it."
"I'm not that drunk" she said. "And you're my friend. Do you really think I would play with your feelings like that?" She added. She was still dragging her words, but she seemed very serious about what she was saying.
"Because she still has feelings for our Sam, you idiot! And because sooner or later this fucking asshole is going to cheat on her. I'd rather have it be now, before she actually falls for him" She said. "I'm surprised you'd think so lowly of me" she added, then just turned away and went talk to other people, pretending to be all happy and stuff.
"One step at a time man, we'll get to him eventually. Everyone knows you And I are the cool ones. We're young, we were born for this sort of thing, let's not deny our birth right. Countless hot young things before us have got drunk and partied like it's their last last, who are we to break this cycle?"
"It was unexpected ok, I mean come on, do you really think she'd be kissing me of all people because she wanted to?"
"I'm gonna put that down as the alcohol talking, but honestly if you're gonna insult me whilst drunk, at least have the decency to do so at a reasonable level of intoxication." Sam made a mental note to forget to Thank Marvin later, apparently Marvin had rubbed off on Sam's vocabulary. He offered him another shot, you can mock me, but don't knock the good stuff."
Sam giggled and looked over his shoulder "Weeeeelll, you could have a really good night with that brunette in the green dress if you go talk to her, she's been checking you out for the last ten minutes"
